What are you going to do?
Our hackathon will be exploring the topic of Emotion detection and visualization.
The goal is to build a prototype that would capture data from any source/s of your choice, analyze it and represent it in a creative way.
You can build whatever you want, from a mobile app to a VR game. Your imagination is the limit!
When and where is the Alpha Hackathon?
The hackathon will be hosted at Ironhack offices (Carrer de Pamplona, 96, 08018 Barcelona).
The kickoff will be on November 9th at 9:00, and we will finish the next day at 17:30.
The offices will remain open throughout the night, so you can stay there if you are a true hacker!
At the end, one winning team will be selected. All members of the winning team will receive a prize.
You will be able to choose among different prizes, so we won’t be able to give it to you at the moment. The prize options for the winners are:
- DJI Spark Drone
- Play station + VR
- iPhone 8
- TV LED 4k Samsung 49"
The prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prizes, and Alpha reserves the right to replace the prizes with alternative prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Alpha’s control makes it necessary to do so.
How are we going to organise teams?
To achieve the best results, we want to create heterogeneous teams that can cover all the layers of a product: from the database, to the UI. That's why we will organise teams of a maximum of four hackers. If you have your own team formed already, please contact us.
What should I bring?
What will I eat?
We will provide all food, drinks and snacks for the two days. First day includes breakfast, lunch and dinner (yes, pizza). And second day breakfast and lunch.
During the registration form you should notify if you have any intolerance or preference for vegan/vegetarian food.
